My mother went to the hospital on Thursday because she'd become...
I don't know how to put it, but she's just not there. The lights are on but no one's home, basically. The doctors and nurses have run a multitude of tests, but they have no idea what's wrong with her.

The nurse told me to think long term. She said I should be prepared to make a tough decision if her condition doesn't improve.
She could die soon.

I'm so scared.
I feel alone.
